In 1998, he completed the PhD program of Istanbul University Behavioral Sciences (Business Faculty).

He worked at Istanbul University Faculty of Business Administration between 1992-2002.

Since 2002, he has been working as a faculty member at Yıldız Technical University, Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration, Department of Organizational Behavior, and is the Head of the Department of Organizational Behavior. He is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Finance, Governance and Sustainability Research Center.

He received the title of Associate Professor in 2009.

Assoc. Prof. Turhan ERKMEN; He has given many conferences on Corporate Reputation Management in Businesses. He also gives trainings, seminars and conferences on various topics such as Organizational Culture, Organizational Communication, Leadership, Conflict Management, Employee Motivation, Commitment to the Organization, Time and Stress Management. He has national and international articles on Organizational Culture, Corporate Image, Institutional Reputation, Emotional Intelligence, Organizational Commitment, Workaholism, Corporate Social Responsibility, Burnout, Psychological Capital, Trust in the Organization, Ethical Climate and Culture in the field of Organizational Behavior. He serves as a referee in various international and national journals. He has books named “Management Communication Culture” and “Organization Culture”.
